Неофициальная публичная премьера машин «Кортежа» состоится на инаугурации нового президента России. Ранее этого времени публичный показ автомобилей не планируется. В дальнейшем модели, в том числе в «специсполнении», будут продаваться на рынке через совместное предприятие ООО «НАМИ-Авто», созданное совместно компанией Sollers (25%) и ФГУП НАМИ (75%).
Предполагается, что сначала в продажу поступят седан и лимузин – приблизительно через год, а в дальнейшем начнется выпуск минивэна и внедорожника. Объем производства на начальном этапе составит около 300 машин в год, а уже после 2020 года планируется довести его до 1 000 единиц в год.
Кстати, ранее сообщалось, что представительские автомобили проекта «Кортеж» отправятся на рынки стран Востока, включая Китай и Объединённые Арабские Эмираты. В Министерстве промышленности и торговли РФ предполагают, что в Азии российские машины могли бы составить конкуренцию моделям Rolls-Royce и Bentley.
